Speaker: Sharing Club Operational, financial & electoral processes.

Goals – To build a better understanding of how we as leaders manage our organizations.

Procedure – To hold three small group breakouts to discuss Yacht Club governance. These meeting groups include;

·         Yacht Club Elections –

o   Who elects your directors.

o   Who elects your bridge.

o   Does it work well for succession strategies.

·         Operational organization –

o   Top level view of club management structure.

o   GM interaction with committees and board members.

o   Are you happy with the value from your hired executive staff.

·         Financial Health

o   Are our clubs headed in the right direction. Good fiscal responsibility

o   Is debt a useful tool to build your club.

Are financial management activities (Budget, Treasury) handled club members or employees.
